Small business tools
A quote calculator or request form built for how you actually work.
Custom tools sound like something only big companies buy, so a lot of small businesses live with phone tag and spreadsheets. I build small, focused tools that do one job well, put them on your website, and keep them running.
How it works
Four steps, in plain English.
01 · PICK
Pick the tool
Start from the list below, or tell me the job you keep doing by hand.
02 · PRICE
Get a fixed price
A written price and what it does before any work starts.
03 · TRY
Try it first
You test a working version on your phone and tell me what’s confusing.
04 · RUN
It goes live and stays up
Hosted, backed up and looked after.
What you get
Everything that’s included.
- Quote or price calculator: customers pick options and see a price range before they call
- Job request form: with photo upload, address and the details you always have to ask for
- Service area checker: customers type a ZIP or town and see if you come to them
- Booking request list: requests in one place instead of scattered texts and voicemails
- Customer status page: a private link where a customer sees where their job stands
- Simple staff schedule or checklist: one page everyone opens on their phone

Who it’s for
Made for businesses like these.
01
Contractors and trades
Rough prices up front mean fewer calls from people who were never going to book, and more time for real jobs.
02
Service businesses
A request form that asks the right questions saves a phone call on every job.
03
Anyone running on spreadsheets
If the same copy and paste happens every day, a small tool can do it.
FAQ
Common questions
What does a custom quote calculator cost?
Most start at $299 for the tool plus $15 a month to host it. You get a fixed price in writing before I start. Bigger tools with logins or a database are quoted separately.
Can the calculator show exact prices?
It shows whatever you’re comfortable with: a range, a starting price, or an exact price for simple jobs. Many businesses use a range so customers know what to expect without locking you in.
Will it work on my current website?
Usually, yes. It can live on its own page and link from your site, or sit inside a page on most website builders.
Who owns the tool?
You do. If you ever move on, you get the code and help moving it.
What if I need something bigger?
Client portals and full platforms are on my apps and platforms page.
