About

Web design since 2007.

I’m Doug Weil, a web developer and the person who answers when you call. No account managers and no hand-offs. You work on a first-name basis with the person building your site.

Stow, OhioSince 2007

The story

How it started.

Doug, a veteran, started building websites for businesses in 2007, first as Brainiac Web Designs, then as Mastermind WebDesigns, and today as Web Design Nerd.

Since then, the work has grown from websites into hosting, SEO, custom apps and platforms, training, and onsite tech help, all from the same shop in Stow.

Timeline

  • 2007 Home to Ohio; starts building websites for businesses
  • 2007–today Websites for contractors, manufacturers, churches, accountants, and more

How I work

Small on purpose.

01

You work with me

The person you talk to is the person building your site. Nothing gets lost in a hand-off.

02

Plain English

No jargon, no upsell games. You’ll always know what’s being done and why.

03

Clear quotes

Everything in writing before work starts, so there are no surprise invoices.

04

Still here after launch

Hosting, updates, and help with whatever comes next, from the same person.

What I believe

Every business should have a website that works.

That means a site that’s fast, easy to use on all devices, easy to find on Google, and easy for you to update. It doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. It has to work.

Let’s talk about what you’re building.
